Hey Zach how's it goin bud?
Hello! Things are going pretty well.

Let's get some background information.
Umm, My name is Zachary James Allott, I'm 19 years old. born in 1992, raised in the Adirondacks of Upstate New York. I dabble in the realm of snowboarding. I grew up snowboarding at Whiteface and a little local hill called Otis Mountain. I started competing when I was 12, and qualified for nationals a few times. Although I'm more focused on just "Having Fun."

What have you been up to lately? Anything special?
Well I've been riding a lot, most recently filming this weekend with some friends and competing in the Gatorade Free Flow tour at Killington the weekend before that.

Gatorade Free Flow? Impressive. How was that?
Well it started off with a rough night and an early morning, followed by being 20 minutes late by registration. In addition I ended up forgetting my helmet and having my bindings mounted backwards...sweet. I wasn't all that focused on doing well since it was my first contest of the season, I just wanted to get into the groove. Just getting to finals was a goal.

And did you make it to finals?
I sure did! I surprised myself with a fairly solid run, speed was hard to get, so merely putting together a run set me up pretty well for getting to finals.

That's good to hear. Not bad for the first competition this season. Any other competitions in mind?
I don't have any big ones in mind at this point, If there happens to be a few smaller ones I might sign up. I'm not focusing on competing this year as much as I have in the past.

Seems like your mainly focused on filming this year?
Yeah I think so!

Sounds good. Who are you filming with this season?
I'm filming a part with a group out of New York called Otis Creative, and also with a close group of friends in a webisode series called Gypsy Magik.
